Bueckert Apiaries was established in 1993 by John Bueckert and Tina Bueckert, after he purchased it from a local beekeeper for which he was employed at for 3 years. He saw an opportunity to invest in something he would enjoy doing. He enjoyed working with local farmers by offering crop pollination for the apple and cherry orchards, cucumber, pumpkin, and watermelon crops in the area. Later he also provided pollination to the wild blueberry, and cranberry growers of Quebec and New Brunswick.
Since the beginning, many things have changed: much of the old equipment and machinery needed to be updated and rebuilt, The small garage out of which was first used for honey extraction has since been replaced with a large building which also houses a home store and work area with new modern equipment for extracting and storing honey.
Bueckert Apiaries has become one of the top in the Beekeeping industry. Still family owned and operated, we are known for our quality products and integrity in our services. Try our honey for yourself to experience the best taste and quality you will find anywhere!! We do not buy and resell honey. Come give our honey a try. We believe in selling only the best quality products to our customers, as it is the same honey and products that we use for ourselves and our children! Our honey is processed from our own bees local to our area (except for wild blueberry from the fields of New Brunswick). Nothing is added to our honey. Bees are never sugar fed during our honey season, so any honey they get is directly obtained from the blossoms in bloom at the time of extraction. Lastly, we leave our honey as it is extracted from our hives: Only low heat is used to liquify the honey in winter. We do not heat or add water to our honey.
